A New Muslim Comedy Tour?! | Nov 21st 2007

Bismillah ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem,

I’ve been invited by Aman Ali & Asif Ali to do a Comedy tour with them InshAllah and we’re trying to come up with name for the tour. Here is a description of the tour:

The world’s fastest growing Muslim comedians are set to launch a brand new comedy tour that is set to rock the entertainment industry. This is going to be unlike any comedy show you’ve seen before

Inshallah we’re putting together a standup comedy show that will be jam packed with sketches, high energy improv and cutting edge comedy that you can’t get anywhere else. The show features:

Aman Ali. Standup comedian in New York City and the one of the funniest Muslim comedians in the world. A regular at New York City’s best comedy clubs and featured performer at the biggest Islamic Conferences all around the world. Performed with Allah Made Me Funny, Native Deen, Dawud Wharnsby and some of the world’s other top Islamic artists.

Asif Ali. One of the best standup comedians in Chicago today. Performs regularly at the top comedy clubs in Chicago and is a hand picked favorite from some of the top comics working today. He’s been featured on NBC Universal and has been featured in some of the country’s most prestigious comedy festivals.

Baba Ali. (you guys already know me)

But we’ve been banging our heads against the wall these past couple of weeks trying to figure out a name to really capture the energy that this tour will unleash. So since it’s going to be you guys who will help make this tour a success, we figure we’d let you guys decide so please vote by following the link below:
