It is a shame that we still have to face issues such as this one. InshAllah, one day, Islam will shine brightly in America, and all over the world, and those who mocked it, or chose to mock those who believe in Islam, will regret their actions.

Welcoming Ramadan Yet Again

Filed under: Personal Development — americanmuslim @ 12:23 am

Well, Ramadan is here once again. It seems like it came so fast, and I definately was not prepared for it this year. The first day went by well, although a killer headache kept me from enjoying much of the day. Nevertheless, it was the first day of fasting, and already I can feel a positive effect on my body, mind, and soul.

One of the things I love about Ramadan is that it is a time of the year when I can give myself time to free my mind, body, and soul of the poisons, bad habits, and negative influences that I have picked up during the year. I feel like my mind is more clear in Ramadan, and I can re-focus my vision in life and align my goals and objectives in life to their intended purpose. Thank God for Ramadan, otherwise I, and perhaps many others, would find ourselves straying away from Islam and God without this month out of the year that helps pull us back.

I look forward to the rest of this month, and hope to maintain full productivity in all aspects of my life during this time. May Allah make it a blessed month for us all!!
